A cushioned porous acrylic system – such as the system we install from Poraflex – is a great tennis and multi-sports surface that provides the playability and grip of a hard court, together with the cushioning of a more specialist for additional player comfort – whether for ageing knees or children more prone to spending time on their behinds than their feet! This makes it perfect for schools, tennis clubs and private courts alike.
The system incorporates a 6mm fabricated shock pad, seamed and spot adhered to the macadam, with a water based specialist sports surfacing paint filled with aggregate to provide the foot grip and attractive surface and line markings.
This results in a comfortable cushioned surface with the added benefit of porosity and low maintenance to rival the other surfacing options on the market.
