At Sports Surfacing Solutions, we offer both static and retractable floodlighting. For private homeowners with their own courts, we recommend retractable floodlights as they are neighbour-friendly and unobtrusive. They provide practical functionality, without being there all the time. It may also be helpful for first-time court owners as it is usually easier to get planning permission because of the lack of problems it causes for neighbours.
Whereas, static floodlight systems are recommended for leisure centres, tennis and sports courts, as the facilities require the lighting to stay in place all year long. Our static floodlights are hard wearing and durable.
